Halfway between a bed & breakfast and a youth hostel, the 9 et Demi only has five rooms and offers a colocation atmosphere in the heart of the Plateau
For the past six years, Jean has been receiving guests in his spacious Saint-Laurent Boulevard apartment. The rooms are welcoming and colorful, each one featuring a different decoration style. Just like with roommates, you’ll share the kitchen and the bathroom. Coffee, tea, fruit juices, bagels, jams, cream cheese, yogurt, and cereals are the breakfast staples. Also provided are a free wifi connection and the access to a computer. Finally, on nice days, you can enjoy the relaxing terrace. A very nice spot in the inexpensive accommodation category.
Jean also opened another similar bed & breakfast on 6529 Saint-Denis (Beaubien metro station, line 2 – Orange). The place is a little more modern but located a little further from downtown.
Ideal Localization
Ideally located on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard, right in the heart of the Plateau, and close to the Mount Royal. Downtown and the Old Montreal are nearby and easily accessible, thanks to the bus line 55 that’ll take you there directly. Mont-Royal metro station (line 2 – Orange) is also located nearby (at 5-10 minute walking distance).There are many restaurants and boutiques at 5 minute walking distance.
