What is the Igloofest ?
Is the idea of dancing away all night long to the sound of electro music in your snowsuit along with thousands of other fans thrilling to you? Then you will not want to miss the 10th edition of the Igloofest that will take over the Quai Jacques-Cartier in the Old Port of Montreal for 6 weekends this year, between January 12 and February 19. Electro music outdoor parties at night with the best DJs out there, an igloos village and ice bars are all waiting for you. To celebrate Montreal’s 375th anniversary, Igloofest will add two weekends to its programming, don’t miss the FREE off-igloo nights on saturdays february 11th and 18th!
A Great Lineup !

HI-Montreal Youth Hostel

A friendly and international atmosphere in the heart of Montreal’s downtown, 2 steps away from Sainte-Catherine. You’ll have to take the metro or a vehicle to get to the site. For more information.
With 2 nights at the HI-Montreal Youth Hostel, the Igloofest tickets are $18 for members and $20 for non-members. You can also take advantage of the Friday night group outings organized by the staff of the hostel.

Practical Information:
Minimum Age: 18 years older and up (alcohol sold on the site)
Public Transportation: The closest subway stations (Champs-de-Mars et Place-D’Armes) are about 10 minutes away from the site, walking. This stations operate until 1am on Fridays and Sundays and 1:30am on Saturdays.
Weather: Be ready to brave average temperature of -10°C… Unless a cold wave lowers the mercury to -25°C… Be smart and dress well, with a warm winter jacket, snow pants, Gotex mitts, waterproof boots, hat and scarf.
For the foodies: Foodies will want to take note that 8 restaurants in the Old Montreal (a few steps away from the site) will be participating in the Happening Gourmand. You’ll have the choice between 3 “tâble d’hôte” (usually an appetizer, a main, and a dessert) and a ticket for the Igloofest.
